[Merissa] Camera Work

We looked at a few camera shots you can take, these were:

Panning Shot
We set up our bipods up to the tallest we could then white balanced went through how to do a panning shot so we went out in a group of 3 and recorded a panning shot. This is where you follow someone slowly however keeping them in frame.

Tilt Shot
We set up the bipods again and white balanced however instead of following somebody we pointed towards their shoes and slowly panned upwards towards their head.

Moving Painting
We set the bipods up again however kept the camera still and someone would walk past the camera however it wouldn't move.

Jib Shot
The jib shot is where your bipod is on 2 legs with the third leg tucked away, you then lean it forwards onto the object causing a jib. We could also challenge ourselves by trying to pan the camera while doing this causing a slanted jib.

Steady Cam
The steady cam is where you open the legs of your bipod and grab the main pole in the center, the hold it upside down and follow somebody around; usually their feet but you need to flip it in editing.

After we got these we went into editing, we used the program Adobe Premier CS6 which is user-friendly editing software.
